WHO ARE BD. & B. FRANK?

The pioneers and originators of "Gluebrass Music” (registered trademark), and at its finest!!

BD Frank has been performing and recording music for over 45 years from the east coast to the southwest, stylistically capturing Americana Roots Music with one foot firmly planted in traditional acoustic blues, boogie woogie and traditional folk styling while exhibiting a unique sound like no other.

Resonators, resonators, resonators. “Reso-man” BD Frank specializes in performance on these traditional instruments. Resonators are instruments that are typically brass or wood body instruments that project sound from an aluminum spun cone. More often than not played in open chord tunings and often played with a slide. BD has focused primarily on these instruments over the past 15 years setting him apart from other players.

B-Barbara grew up playing orchestral classical music including performances throughout Europe and the US. Currently, Barbara has applied this education to a more rootsy Americana music styling. Proficient on multiple instruments including cello, viola, violin, harmonium, various hand percussion and vocals.
